BD’s roots, however, actually date back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. first opened its doors. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance are one, with eight specialty divisions that focus on diesel power train components: Fuel Injection Calibration Department, Exhaust Brake Manufacturing, Electronic Circuit Design and Assembly, Transmission and Torque Converter Design and Remanufacturing, Turbocharger Design, Installation and Research and Development. Upgraded governor pressure transducer (47RE/48RE) – Twice the burst pressure than stock. BD Diesel 03-04 Dodge 48RE Transmission & Converter Roadmaster Package (2WD). BD RoadMaster Dodge 48RE Transmission & Converter Package – 2003-2004 2wd. BD deep sump oil pan with magnetic drain plug. Cooler line case saver in every transmission. Enhanced Stall – Street/Towing applications. Lower rpm response than the stock converter. Torque multiplying cast aluminum stators. Clutch Count: OD DIRECT 10 (same as OE). TRANS PACKAGE DODGE 2003-2004 48RE 2WD. Every transmission is tested on a dyno. Increased line pressure to 190-200psi. Clutch Count: FORWARD 4 (same as OE). Clutch Count: DIRECT 5 (same as OE). About BD Diesel
